About Me

Freya is a creative producer and designer for theatre and film with a vision for bold, experiential design. Whether working in established theatres, or transforming the bathroom of a rented apartment into an immersive set; she sees design as an opportunity for collaborative storytelling and world building.

Recent projects include props for The Weir (The Olympia, 2025), assistant set for Anu and Landmark’s The Dead (Museum of Literature, 2024), set and costume design for Suzy Storck, (Smock Alley 2024), You’re Needy (Sounds Frustrating) (offsite for Summerhall Theatre, EdFringe 2024), Persona Metropolitana (Smock Alley, nominated for Best Design Dublin Fringe 2023), and costume design for Taseinyourmouth and Glasshouse’s work in progress presentation of new opera Hysterically Shopping! To some sort of end…(Project Arts Centre, 2024).

Recent film credits as a designer include TG4’s Siar Linn, RTE Storyland’s Shush, and Toucan’s Don’t Understand Why music video directed by Niamh Bryson. Her directorial debut, Stare, premiered in Gaze Film Festival 2024.

She is a co-founder of the production company Greener Grass and is the associate producer for the Irish Society of Performance Designers (ISPD).
